Derek Schmidt wins 101 counties out of the counties in the state of Kansas to support his claims of his movement in the country. Laura Kelly won 4 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Kansas.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Laura Kelly (75.0%) beats Arlyn Briggs (25.0%). Derek Schmidt (80.6%) beats Arlyn Briggs (19.4%) and Derek Schmidt (58.1%) beats Laura Kelly (41.9%).

Derek Schmidt simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Laura Kelly and Arlyn Briggs could not achieve a victory since Derek Schmidt captures so many voters across most counties.
