2022 Connecticut Primary Election Story (Senate)

Leora Levy received 50.6% (46.82k votes) beating both Themis Klarides who had 40.03% (37.03k votes) and Peter Lumaj who had 9.37% (8672 votes) in the overall count of votes in Connecticut if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Leora Levy wins 130 counties out of the counties in the state of Connecticut to support his claims of his movement in the country. Themis Klarides won 39 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Connecticut.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Themis Klarides (81.0%) beats Peter Lumaj (19.0%). Leora Levy (84.4%) beats Peter Lumaj (15.6%) and Leora Levy (55.8%) beats Themis Klarides (44.2%).

Leora Levy simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Themis Klarides and Peter Lumaj could not achieve a victory since Leora Levy captures so many voters across most counties.
