2022 Kentucky Primary Election Story (Senate)

Rand Paul received 49.12% (333.05k votes) beating both Charles Booker who had 31.6% (214.25k votes) and Joshua Blanton who had 4.57% (30980 votes) in the overall count of votes in Kentucky if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Rand Paul wins 97 counties out of the counties in the state of Kentucky to support his claims of his movement in the country. Charles Booker won 21 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Kentucky.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Charles Booker (87.4%) beats Joshua Blanton (12.6%). Rand Paul (91.5%) beats Joshua Blanton (8.5%) and Rand Paul (60.9%) beats Charles Booker (39.1%).

Rand Paul simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Charles Booker and Joshua Blanton could not achieve a victory since Rand Paul captures so many voters across most counties.
