Kanye West is banned from Twitter by Elon Musk for inciting violence

Just two months after his initial suspension, Kanye West has been suspended from Twitter and accused of "inciting violence" over obscene tweets.

The American rapper Ye, now going by his stage name Ye, tweeted a series of oddly timed messages, one of which appeared to combine a swastika and a Jewish star.

One user pleaded with Twitter's new CEO, Elon Musk, to "fix Kanye."

Musk stated in a tweet that West "violated our rule against promoting violence."

Musk tweeted that "the account will be suspended."

Additionally, on Thursday, West spoke with American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones while donning a mask, praising the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and ranting against immorality, pornography, and the devil.

The leader of the Holocaust Educational Trust in the UK called West's comments "repulsive and horrible."

"These words, paired with his great fame and a big following, have major ramifications," CEO Karen Pollock asserts.
