2022 Idaho Primary Election Story (Governor)

Brad Little received 47.45% (148.84k votes) beating both Janice McGeachin who had 28.97% (90.86k votes) and Edward Humphreys who had 9.84% (30878 votes) in the overall count of votes in Idaho if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Brad Little wins 39 counties out of the counties in the state of Idaho to support his claims of his movement in the country. Janice McGeachin won 4 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Idaho.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Janice McGeachin (74.6%) beats Edward Humphreys (25.4%). Brad Little (82.8%) beats Edward Humphreys (17.2%) and Brad Little (62.1%) beats Janice McGeachin (37.9%).

Brad Little simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Janice McGeachin and Edward Humphreys could not achieve a victory since Brad Little captures so many voters across most counties.
